Behaviour Support Practitioner
Happy, Relaxed, & Engaged provides compassionate, evidence-based behaviour support across Tasmania. We support teenagers and young adults through trauma-informed, person-centred practice aligned with NDIS frameworks.
Behaviour support practitioners are limited in Tasmania. We are building accessible services across the state, grouping participants in the North and South to ensure consistent, responsive care.

Trauma-Informed Behaviour Support
Our practice is grounded in the Happy, Relaxed, and Engaged (HRE) philosophy. This framework recognises that meaningful learning and behaviour change only occur when a person feels safe and regulated.
“Happy” means content and not attempting to escape.
“Relaxed” means calm and emotionally regulated.
“Engaged” means actively involved in a chosen activity.
When all three are present, skill development becomes safer and more effective.
We prioritise safety, dignity, and autonomy at every stage. Book an introductory call to see how this approach can support your family.
